    Description

    In line with the “education and training 2020” (ET2020), the strategic framework for European cooperation in the field of education, this project aims to unite and integrate the current need to use new technologies (ICT) in the best way and encourage creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship and the European dimension of lifelong learning in young people and teachers.
Starting from the analysis of the problem of the shortage of language skills of pupils, according to various investigations nationally and internationally (OECD), despite the Lisbon strategy and the accompanying measures of the past decade, there is still a high percentage of teenagers with poor reading comprehension.

    Transnational Meetings

    Four Transnational meetings are planned (2 per year), during which partners can meet, plan activities and share the priorities, construct the logo, design and implement the project web site, monitor the progress of the work, share materials for the production of outputs, introduce the carried out products and evaluate the project in its totality.

    Short term Joint Staff Training

    Aims:
    •    To take part in teaching, learning and training activities;
    •    To observe colleagues and their teaching methods in a real class context;
    •    To share good practises and moments of common interactions.

    Short term Exchanges of Groups of Pupils

    It allows:
    •    Students and teachers’ mobility;
    •    Didactic activities about the common topics and outputs realized from each country;
    •    To meet classmates from other countries and to develop communicative and linguistic skills.

    Outputs

    1.Be happy 2 read & write:
    Training Kit in printed and digital form that collects and shows the best creative and innovative methods, used successfully to teach reading and writing.

    Croatia, Latvia, Slovakia and Spain: participating countries

    2.    StoryInventor:
    An “educational game”, through which to develop the language and the communicative, expressive, and narrative skills in pupils and students.
    “Cards” of the story and cards of change will be used with the aim to invent stories in progress. From there a movie and a book trailer will be realized.
